ID & Credit Card: We’ll need to check your ID and credit card details when you pick up your bike (even if you book online).  Please be sure you have a government issued photo ID and a valid credit card for bike security (Debit and VISA Debit not accepted.)
Helmet: Rental helmets are included with all rentals & tours.
Eyewear: Clear riding glasses are best for the Whistler forests.  Sunglasses will do the trick also, but may be a little dark.  We have a great range of Ryders and SPY Optics in store.
Outerwear: A light jacket is handy for cold mornings or rainy days.  You’ll warm up nice and quick while riding, but best to be prepared.
Jersey: Tech, breathable jerseys are recommended to keep you comfortable on the trail.
Backpack & Tools: Small riding bags are perfect to keep the essentials in, we’re a fan of the EVOC bags for riding.  We have a limited selection of hand pumps and tools for rental use, so be sure to bring your riding tools if you’re spending a few days riding.
Gloves: Gloves are essential for comfort and grip on the bike.  We do NOT provide gloves with rentals for hygiene issues.  We have a large selection of suitable gloves in store from Fox and Giro.
Shorts: Knee length shorts are best for biking, allowing ample movement and breathability.  Refrain from wearing jeans or restricting attire.
Shoes & Pedals: We can provide pedals to suit most cycling shoes (Shimano SPD & Crankbrothers) and offer flat pedals as standard.  If you regularly ride ‘clipped in’ we suggest bringing your own pedals – to make sure the engagement is set to your liking.  If you don’t have cycling specific shoes, we will set you up with our standard flat pedals.  Be sure to wear a flat sole skate style shoe for best results.
Medication & Other essentials: Make sure to bring any medication you might need and of course; don’t forget your camera!

A big attraction to Whistler is the Whistler Bike Park. This is a ticketed, lift assist zone with world class mountain bike trails descending from the top of the lifts. Although there are ‘easy’ trails in the bike park that can be attempted on a trail/XC bike we allow ONLY our Downhill and Enduro category rentals into the bike park.(SB150, SB6 & Demo 8).
This policy is due to the downhill nature, roughness and speed of the trails, and an effort to help keep our bikes in the best condition for our guests. This also includes any trails accessible via the bike park lifts.
Feel free to ask our staff if you have any questions!

Some of the best trails in the region are outside of the lift assist zones, and account for roughly 70% of Whistlers mountain biking terrain. Head over to trailforks to get a good overview of our trail network.
We recommend that riders always start out in the ‘Lost Lake’ network, to get used to bikes and local terrain.

Our ADP is designed to cover any accidental damage to the bike that you may incur during your ride. We will absorb the cost of repair for any accidents that happen on trail. An example would be a bent or broken brake lever from a crash; or a broken derailleur from clipping a rock. This policy does not cover theft or intentional damage – you are solely responsible for the bike for the rented period.
General wear and tear is expected, this is covered regardless of purchasing ADP. Our friendly staff will make recommendations for service intervals during extended rental periods, and make sure your bike remains in top running condition.
We strongly encourage you to return to the store immediately in the event of damage. Our mechanics can quickly resolve the issue before causing more damage; and before it has a further negative impact on your ride!

Yes and Yes. Feel free to keep the bike overnight, as long as you keep it safe and secure. If you don’t think you can keep it safe, drop it back to us during our opening hours. We do NOT provide after hours drop off, While we try and stay open as long as possible, we like to ride too!

No. Lift tickets are sold directly through Guest relations at the Whistler Bike Park. To speed things along in the morning, these can be pre-purchased online or in person.

Yes. We have a great range of models, and some days your trails choices might call for a Downhill bike instead of that XC bike (please refer to our bike park policy). Swaps can be done based on availability, we’ll need your current rental back so it can be rented if needed. Please make the effort to discuss bike options ahead of time, so we can reserve the correct model and size for your daily needs.
During busy periods, a labor charge may be incurred for multiple bike swaps.

Yes. Have a chat to our staff when you pickup your rental. We’ll give you a few options to drop the bike back so our mechanics can look over it. Keep in mind, we may not be able to do this on the spot if we’re busy; so please notify us beforehand so we can plan ahead and keep you riding!

Front on right, Rear on Left? We can do that. Also called “moto”, “UK” and “Aussie” brakes; Our left hand driving guests may want their brakes swapped over. All our rentals are upgraded to SRAM brakes for exactly that reason.

Yes (mostly). All our Enduro, Trail and Cross-Country bikes are setup tubeless as standard. Our downhill bikes run dual-ply casing tires and DH thickness tubes.
