Meredith Eades

From a small town in Quebec, Meredith moved West 14 years ago to attend UBC, with the intention of skiing at much as possible in Whistler while she was going to school. It didn’t take long for her to discover mountain biking during the off season, which quickly became her second passion.

After competing on the Freeskiing tour for 3 years, Meredith experienced a series of knee injuries forcing to put competitive skiing on hold. While recovering she spent a lot of time on her bike rehabilitating which really grew her love and passion for mountain biking. It was during this time her focus changed from a competitive mindset to a coaching one and she started to pursue her bike coaching/guiding certifications and started working for Arbutus Routes.

“Getting to show people the bike trails that I love in Whistler and coach them down trails they never thought possible, is an incredibly rewarding experience and I am so thankful for the opportunity to do that on a daily basis”.
