Alpine Dream Trail Project Sponsored by WOA, Bear Back Biking and WORCA
We have been dreaming of this for years - now it’s time to come do your part to fulfill your high alpine dream! WORCA is calling upon all its members to lend a hand, especially if you have not been out yet for a trail day this season. If 1000 members come out and only cut 3 m of trail each, we have 3 km of riding. This would only take a small amount of your time and our dream could come true.
Trail Days: September 24 & 25, October 2 & 9
Location: Bottom of Stonebridge Rd
Time: 8am - you may leave whenever you must but please try and stay for at least 4 hours. We will be there all day.
If the Volley days above don’t work for you, please contact Dave or Jerome via trails@worca.com . Leave a phone number, you and you crew can join on any other day we are working. Period to help is Sept. 20th to Oct 17th.
In advance we want to also thank Whistler Outback Adventures and Bear Back Biking for co-sponsoring this project and these trail days.
What to bring:
* long pants and long sleeves is advised
* work gloves
* water
* lunch
* tools if you have them as we only have so many: picks, pulaskis, hand saws, garden shears, Hand Pruners (if you have none, WORCA has some tools available)
* Bug spray
If you come by bike you will need to stash it in the woods as you won’t want to take it with you all the way. Please bring a lock.
